I think your cousin needs to seek help….

And no I would not buy a genetically enhanced fish.

‘walking fish’ is a very broad term for fish that can temporarily travel out of water and onto land. It can be anything from a mud skipper to a snakehead. There are plenty of ‘walking fish’ available to the pet trade. It is only invasive and dangerous species in the hands of ignorant owners that have caused fish like snakeheads to have widespread bans.

Genetically enhanced anything is never good. While I understand selective breeding, tinkering with genes is asking for trouble.

Personally I wouldn’t, but loads of people would buy them. But I don’t how forcing them to eat the same food as humans would produce walking fish… and I think genetically engineering them without being employed by a government is probably illegal in 99% of cases.
